It’s been a while. I still have a massive backlog of films to write reviews for, one that continues to grow and grow with every film I see but don’t ramble about here. I’ve been seeing Angel Eyes for just over five months now; I’m beyond grateful that she wants me in her life, and I can’t stress that enough. She’ll be graduating from Moravian in a month, and that’ll make half a year together. And it’s certainly been an eventful half a year! I have a proper job as a librarian for the BAPL- the job pays alright and I like my coworkers and boss well enough- and I’m looking into apartments closer to Philly. I’m also preparing for the April LSAT, since while my Birthday LSAT score was fine it wasn’t standout.
The world is in shambles (for anyone in the future who may or may not- probably the latter- be reading this, check out a textbook on the Crisis of the 21st Century or whatever for more information), but I’m trying to keep that from getting me down. Considering my personal luck is usually inversely correlated with how things are going in the world, I’m optimistic that I’ll get into a good law school. I’m casting a broad net in that regard, to maximize my chances.
Work’s given my days structure. I like structure, I like knowing where to go and what to do and when to do it. I wake up at dawn every day, take my shower, and either have a light breakfast or skip it and go to the Joint for some tea (earl grey, oatmilk). I work Mondays through Thursdays from the early afternoon to 6. After that I commute home through Bath and Lehighton. Nice and predictable. Maybe I’m an NPC.
Shortly after 2100 tonight Angel Eyes and I are gonna get ice cream together. I might stop at the Portal before then, take a look and see if they have anything new in the used section. Last time I went they mostly had magazines or magazine length splats.
