Well, I had the interview, and I like to think I left a good impression! Unfortunately, I missed the make-up class for Property, but Prof. Kahan was understanding. We’re finally at my favorite policy-wonk topic: private land-use planning. As with my review of Ape and Essence, I have much to say. However, there’s a Criminal Justice Society event from noon to 2 PM, so time is at a premium. I should probably be more involved in CJS, honestly; somebody once told me I’d make a good prosecutor. We discussed implied easements by prior existing use in Emanuel v. Hernandez, 245 Ill. Dec. 892, 728 N.E.2d 1249 (2000) and easements by necessity in Berge v. State, 915 A.2d 189 (Vt. 2006). I’m gonna pop over to the guest lecture after LegReg.
I’m excited for the talent show tomorrow night! I managed to get a timeslot in at the last minute, deo gratias. Not sure what I wanna sing, but I’ll figure something out sooner rather than later. I still need to find a plus one for the Opera and the Barrister’s Ball. I’ll figure something out.
